Not everything that keeps people stuck is happening inside them. Sometimes the environment genuinely makes things harder than they need to be. Too much noise. Too many demands. No space to think properly. Expectations that are unclear. Expectations that are unrealistic. Conditions that quietly drain energy faster than it can recover.

People are often surprisingly quick to blame themselves for situations that would make movement difficult for almost anyone. That does not mean you are powerless.

But it does mean the answer may not simply be “try harder.”

Sometimes the useful question is not: “What is wrong with me?”, but: “What about this situation keeps making movement difficult?”

Those are very different questions. And they tend to lead to very different kinds of answers.
